BACKGROUND
World of Impact was established October 2021 to help organizations create an impact.
Kristine Schmidt is the founder and CEO of World of Impact, where she helps companies with strategy, innovation and sustainability.
Before founding World of Impact, Kristine worked more than 20 years in Danish companies such as LEGO Company, Gumlink, Rynkeby Foods and FLEXA furniture, where she held several senior senior roles. She has been VP Strategy & Branding at Capital of Children and Innovation Director in FLEXA. At FLEXA she helped helping the company go from bankrupt to healthy company through strategic innovations and sound execution. Kristine is an experienced leader and has, among other things, contributed to successful blue ocean strategy, more than a thousand successful innovations and a number of sustainability strategies.
Kristine sits on three boards, Hetek, VTT, P.J. Schmidt Foundation, as well as on the advisory board of American Friends of the National Gallery of Denmark.
Kristine holds a Master degree, Cand. Negot from Odense University and a Master degree in innovation management from CBS. Kristine has lived and worked in Kenya and Italy.
Her strength is her experience with both strategy, execution, and evaluation. Her secret ingredients are her innovation background and her capability to lead different interest groups towards a shared goal.
